THE DIY

The change starts with you. Read on to see how to start the conversation about healthier masculinity.

The propagation of harmful ideas, while often having figureheads, is actually done on the individual level, one person at a time.

THIS IS WHY we recognize that promoting community involvement and encouraging a plurality of speakers to voice an alternative to the alt-right is just as important as what The Reclaim Project itself is saying.

Because of this, we encourage everyone to involve themselves in the online discourse surrounding masculinity and to make their voice heard no matter who or where they are.

Using resources provided and community-centered grassroots initiatives and creativity, one can engage in this space in a variety of ways:

Starting a club on campus geared towards deradicalization using tools from our research is one example.

Handing out pamphlets synthesizing information about masculinity is one other strategy to engage in this space.

The strategies one can take and ways to implement research done by the Reclaim project are limitless and we highly encourage people to adapt accordingly based on the social contexts they are responding to.
